Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. ANNUAL REPORT ON OFFICE FOR STATE AND 1 LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. 2 Section 2006(b) of the Homeland Security Act of 3 2002 (6 U.S.C. 607(b)) is amended— 4 (1) by redesignating paragraph (5) as para- 5 graph (6); and 6 (2) by inserting after paragraph (4) the fol- 7 lowing new paragraph: 8 ‘‘(5) ANNUAL REPORT.—For each of fiscal 9 years 2022 through 2026, the Assistant Secretary 10 for State and Local Law Enforcement shall submit 11 to the Committee on Homeland Security and the 12 Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Rep- 13 resentatives and the Committee on Homeland Secu- 14 rity and Governmental Affairs and the Committee 15 on the Judiciary of the Senate a report on the activi- 16 ties of the Office for State and Local Law Enforce- 17 ment.
